LaFortune Racecars Class 10 car

Another original design for Lafortune Racecars in 2010. The prototype vehicle was finished within weeks of the 2010 SCORE Baja 1000, a peninsula run that year. With only minimal testing and suspension tuning before the race the team ended their first effort in the new car with a triumphant first place finish with zero issues, a testament to the team and solid design of the chassis. In 2012 the same vehicle raced the Baja 1000 again with myself as 1 of 3 drivers and we came home with the 1st place trophy, zero issues once again.

   In 2012 a Dakar version of the same vehicle was built and entered in the 2013 Dakar race, in it's maiden race had zero issues and finished on the podium in 3rd place. For 2014 the truck bodied chassis took the top podium spot in class, 1st place.
